Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Odours. Hot. Dusty. Noisy. Tasks: Set up chemical experiments, tests and analyses. Assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards . Compile records and interpret experimental or analytical results. Start up, shut down and troubleshoot equipment. Monitor instruments on one or more chemical formulation units. Measure, weigh and load chemical ingredients following formulation cards. Clean and maintain work space. Take samples of products during or after processing operation for routine analysis or for subsequent laboratory analysis. Analytical techniques: Sampling.
