<p>Reporting to the global compensation director, the successful candidate will actively participate in the design, improvement and implementation of global remuneration policies and programs. In addition, they will support a team of HR generalists in one of our divisions. The job is based in Valcourt, and requires presence on site 3 days a week.</p><p><strong>YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Actively participate in identifying, developing, and implementing policies, programs, processes and work tools related to comprehensive remuneration to ensure sound governance.</p></li><li><p>Act as an advisor to the HRBPs and management on all matters relating to global remuneration.</p></li><li><p>Manage the annual salary review exercise as well as variable pay programs.</p></li><li><p>Perform various cost analyses based on financial results and budgets to ensure that remuneration programs are effective.</p></li><li><p>Participate in compensation surveys by collecting and analyzing market salary data to determine the company's competitive position.</p></li><li><p>Prepare top quality presentations for management, HR stakeholders, or employees.</p></li><li><p>Participate in developing communication materials and remuneration training.</p></li><li><p>Participate in various projects to improve the employee experience.</p></li><li><p>Monitor innovative global remuneration practices internationally.</p></li></ul><p><strong>YOU?LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:</strong></p><ul><li><p>A Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, actuarial science or a similar field.</p></li><li><p>Five (5) or more years of experience in the area of compensation. Consulting experience would be an asset.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of compensation in an international context.</p></li><li><p>Experience in the design and implementation of various comprehensive compensation programs (job evaluation system, salary structures, variable pay plans, etc.)</p></li><li><p>Rigorous with proven time management and prioritization skills, with a client oriented mindset.</p></li><li><p>Experience with an integrated HR system. SAP/Success Factors would be an asset.</p></li><li><p>Leadership skills and strong capacity to influence stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Advanced skills in Excel and solid skills in Powerpoint.</p></li><li><p>Bilingual in French - English both written and verbal is required.</p></li></ul><p>The chosen candidate will be based at the Valcourt office, but must be able to travel to the Montreal office on an occasional basis. </p><p><br> <strong>ACKNOWLEDGING THE POWER OF DIVERSITY</strong></p><p><span>BRP is dedicated to nurturing a culture that invites, connects, and propels the ambitions of people of all backgrounds, profiles, beliefs and experiences.
