We are currently looking for a Operations Manager with:
* at least five (5) years of project management experience
* at least five (5) or more years of restoration industry experience
* at least two (2) years of experience in a management/leadership role, managing a team of employees
* experience using Xactimate, Xactanalysis would be an asset
* experience overseeing construction projects, both residential and commercial
* working knowledge of the building envelope, building sciences and project management
* a dedication to monitoring job costs to ensure job profitability
* computer literacy is a must for this position
Key Responsibilities:
*1. Leadership & Team Management*
* Implement and run catastrophe (CAT) response programs, ensuring efficient mobilization and execution of large-scale disaster recovery efforts.
* Ensure all team members have up-to-date SLA (Service Level Agreement) information to meet and exceed client expectations.
* Drive a high-performance culture by ensuring teams are aligned with KPI goals, safety standards, and service excellence.
* Ensure strong brand representation on job sites with properly branded vehicles, uniforms, and a professional team presence.
* Lead, mentor ,train and manage the Project Manager Team, ensuring they are well-trained, properly equipped, and prepared for rapid deployment.
* Develop and implement best practices for emergency response, mitigation procedures, and operational efficiency.
* Maintain 24/7 response readiness, ensuring teams are properly scheduled and available for emergency calls.
*2. Emergency Response & Field Operations*
* Oversee and coordinate disaster response efforts, ensuring timely mobilization of personnel and equipment.
* Ensure all emergency mitigation work (water extraction, structural drying, board-ups, smoke/odor removal, etc.) meets industry standards (IICRC, NFPA, OSHA).
* Implement and enforce SOPs for emergency response, ensuring efficiency and consistency across all projects.
* Monitor job progress, ensuring timely completion and adherence to scope, budget, and compliance requirements.
* Collaborate with insurance adjusters, property owners, and project managers to streamline restoration efforts.
*3. Compliance, Safety & Quality Control*
* Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies during all emergency operations.
* Conduct job site audits, reviewing work quality, adherence to safety guidelines, and regulatory compliance.
* Implement quality control checks, ensuring high standards in mitigation and emergency response services.
*4. Resource & Logistics Management*
* Manage equipment and inventory, ensuring availability and proper maintenance.
* Optimize workforce scheduling for efficient coverage across service areas, balancing workload and response capacity.
* Ensure accurate and timely documentation of emergency jobs, including work orders, moisture readings, and compliance reports.
*5. Customer Experience & Stakeholder Engagement*
* Act as the primary point of contact for property owners, clients, and insurance adjusters during escalations of restoration projects.
* Ensure clear and timely communication with customers regarding project timelines, expectations, and next steps.
* Monitor customer satisfaction metrics (NPS, Google Reviews) and address service concerns proactively.
* Build strong relationships with insurance carriers, adjusters, and vendors to improve collaboration and streamline claim approvals including attending events.
*6. Financial & Performance Management*
* Monitor job profitability, cost control, and efficiency
