Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification. Clean machines and immediate work areas. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Equipment and machinery experience: Concrete vibrators. Concrete saws. Grinding machine. Forklift. Hand tools. Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional. Residential. Poured concrete. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Overtime required. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat. Cellular phone. Safety vest. Rain gear.
