Best Buy Liquor Store is currently seeking someone for approximately 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have experience In supervisory or management roles, extraordinary customer service skills and a positive attitude. Applicants must have flexible availability, including nights and weekends. Able to work alone or as part of a team. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and attention to detail is an asset. *Job Requirements:* · 19+ years of age · Provide exceptional customer service · Have excellent cash handling abilities, and be able to process payments accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment · Able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively · Comfortable working alone or as a part of a team · Obtain a valid Serving It Right certificate · Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends *Job Responsibilities:* · Cashier duties such as processing payments, making change, and bagging items · Assist with customer inquiries and locating product · Retain product knowledge and assist customers by providing recommendations · Perform required ID checks and prevent sale of liquor and tobacco to minors, patrons without valid ID, and intoxicated patrons · Stock, rotate, and merchandise product Maintain store cleanliness and perform general cleaning duties such as dusting and sweeping Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.50-$21.00 per hour Benefits: * Flexible schedule * On-site parking * Paid time off Schedule: * Evening shift * Morning shift * Night shift * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * Nanaimo, BC V9R 6T9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): * Are you available to work various times and days of shifts including weekends?
