Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Floriculture production. Outdoors. Non-smoking. Tasks: Budding trees. Greenhouse cleaning. Seed cutting. Spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides. Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants. Mix and prepare soils. Plant bulbs and seeds. Pot and re-pot plants. Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings. Apply fertilizers. Report signs of insect or disease damage. Dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Clean work area. Load and unload vehicle. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Reliability. Team player.
