*Overview* We are seeking a talented Licensed Hair Stylist to join our team. If you are passionate about hair styling and providing exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you. With an Averaging rate of $36.50 an hour, including your pay tips and commission. Also, we have a 400$ signing bonus after three months, you will receive a $200 signing bonus and after six month completion, you will receive another $200 bonus totalling $400. *Duties* - Perform hair styling services including cutting, coloring, and styling - Sanitize tools and work areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards - Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and handling payments - Utilize upselling techniques to recommend additional services or products - Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction - Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences - Participate in retail sales of hair care products *Skills* - Proficient in various hair styling techniques - Ability to sanitize tools and maintain a clean work environment - Experience with front desk responsibilities is a plus - Strong upselling skills to promote additional services or products - Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients professionally - Effective communication skills to understand client preferences and provide recommendations - Knowledge of retail sales practices for hair care products Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: Up to $36.50 per hour Expected hours: No less than 35 per week Additional pay: * Commission pay * Tips Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Experience: * hair styling: 3 years (required) Work Location: In person- LocationPeterborough, ON
