<p><strong>Industrial Construction Superintendent</strong></p><p><strong>Are you ready to take on an exciting challenge on a major project? We are looking for an Industrial Construction Superintendent for a project starting in Halifax in mid-March.</strong></p><p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Salary starting at $120,000/year (based on experience) + $15,000 bonus upon project completion</li><li>6-month contract with the potential for future projects</li><li>Monday to Saturday schedule ? 10-hour shifts</li><li>Airbnb accommodation covered for candidates relocating from outside the province of NS</li><li>A unique opportunity to lead a large-scale project in a dynamic environment</li></ul><p><strong>A Day in the Life:</strong></p><p>Oversee the framing and construction of an industrial steel building</p><p>Conduct quality inspections of completed work</p><p>Read and interpret blueprints and plans</p><p>Lead meetings with stakeholders</p><p>Prepare daily site reports and handle administrative tasks</p><p>Coordinate subcontractors and manage daily operations</p><p>Resolve on-site issues and ensure smooth project execution</p><p></p><p><strong>What You Need:</strong></p><p>Bilingualism required (advanced English, intermediate French)</p><p>5+ years of experience as a site superintendent</p><p>A valid driver?s license and a personal vehicle to commute to the site</p><p>Fall arrest certification (training can be provided)</p><p>Assets: First Aid certification, carpentry skills, scissor lift ticket</p><p>Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills</p><p>Ability to read and interpret construction plans</p><p>Availability to work in Nova Scotia for 5 to 6 months</p><p>This is a unique opportunity to bring your expertise to a high-profile project.
