*Job Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipper/Receiver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring that all packages are handled efficiently and accurately. This role is critical in maintaining the flow of goods within our warehouse distribution environment, contributing to overall operational success. *Responsibilities:* * Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips. * Organize and maintain warehouse and yard for efficient storage and accessibility. * Schedule and coordinate deliveries with carriers and customers. * Load and unload shipments safely using a forklift. * Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. * Assist with inventory control and stock management. *Requirements:* * *Previous experience* in shipping/receiving and warehouse organization. * *Forklift license* with hands-on forklift experience. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to lift heavy materials as needed. * Experience scheduling deliveries and managing logistics. * Strong communication and teamwork skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-04-01- LocationSurrey, BC
