Job details
Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. or equivalent experience. Asset languages: Dutch; Flemish. Work site environment: Noisy. Work setting: Field location. Workshop. Tasks: Keep maintenance reports and documentation. Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements. Perform other routine maintenance. Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems. Perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment. Complete reports. Complete detailed inspection documentation. Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed. Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs . Provide customer service. Repair or replace mechanical units or components. Report information to supervisor. Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit. Apprenticeship training: Pre-apprenticeship training. Level one apprenticeship training. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Public transportation is not available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Standing for extended periods. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Accurate. Client focus. Dependability. Reliability. Organized.
