<p>REW is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant who seamlessly blends business curiosity with technical rigour.</p><p>At REW.ca, we believe real estate is one of life’s great adventures.</p><p>As Western Canada’s premier real estate platform, we empower millions of Canadians to navigate their home search journeys with confidence.</p><p>By combining innovative technology, deep market insights, and a seamless user experience, REW.ca empowers home seekers to find their perfect home.</p><p>Our mission is to make real estate a more personal experience, guided by care, empathy, and innovation.  We’ve done this by carefully assembling a team of great people who have great ideas.</p><p>One of those genius-level ideas is to make REW quite simply the best place in the world to work - and we’d like your help to get there.</p><p>And that’s where you come in.</p><p>We’re searching for a hands-on Senior Accountant to join our small yet mighty Finance and Operations team.</p><p>In this role, you’ll help keep the REW financial engine running smoothly - from day-to-day accounting and month-end close, to thoughtful analysis that adds context to the numbers.   Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, you’ll help ensure business activity flows accurately through to the financials.</p><p>You’ll bring a conscientious and curious mindset -  maintaining accounting rigour and meeting deadlines, while raising flags when something needs review or an approach can be improved.</p><p>The right fit is about far more than routine processing.</p><p>We’re looking for a collaborative problem-solver who enjoys getting into the details, working with teams across the business, and making an impact.</p><p>If you like building better processes and supporting good decisions, you’ll no doubt love it here.</li><li>  With a Great Role comes Great Responsibilities Full-cycle Accounting Operations Own day-to-day accounting, including AP (invoice and expense processing) supported by a centralized AP team, and AR (invoice and payment receipt reconciliations).</p><p>Complete month-end close, including balance sheet reconciliations.</p><p>Prepare internal monthly reporting packages with variance analysis.  Budgeting and Forecasting Assist with annual budget preparation and quarterly forecasting submissions.</p><p>Complete analysis on revenue, collections, expenses, and other operational finance items.  Maintain and improve upon cash flow models.</p><p>Revenue Recognition Support internal teams with billing and invoicing matters, with an understanding of the sales-to-revenue data flow.  Act as an internal control point for revenue-related processes, helping ensure accurate financial reporting and identifying potential revenue recognition items for compliance with IFRS 15.</p><p>Prepare monthly commission calculations for review.</p><p>Controls and Additional Responsibilities Act as a control point for coding accuracy, policy compliance, tax treatment, cut-off, and documentation.</p><p>Assist with audit requests, tax compliance filings, and IFRS analysis.</p><p>Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in accounting processes, controls, procedures, and documentation.  Ad hoc requests as needed.</p><p>Who you are is far more important than where you’ve been.  Key Skills & Qualifications.</p><p>Strong IFRS knowledge, with CPA designation.</p><p>Full-cycle accounting experience (3+years) preferred.</p><p>Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems; Microsoft Dynamics GP experience is an asset.</p><p>Experience in a tech, recurring revenue, or subscription-based environment is preferred, including exposure to revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and AR reconciliations.</p><p>Experience with tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Stripe, CRMs, or similar platforms is an asset.</p><p>Strong organizational skills, at- Location Vancouver, BC
