*Overview* We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Cashier and Customer Service Associate to join our retail team. This role is essential in providing an exceptional shopping experience by handling transactions accurately, assisting customers, and promoting products. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or technical sales are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and support diverse clientele. *Duties* * Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience * Operate POS systems efficiently for cash, credit, and digital transactions while accurately handling cash and processing payments * Conduct product demos and upsell items to meet sales goals while providing detailed product information * Manage merchandising displays to attract customer attention and optimize product placement * Provide knowledgeable assistance on technical products, including explaining features and benefits during sales or demos * Maintain organized checkout areas, ensuring cleanliness and proper stock levels of sales materials * Offer exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction * Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about products or store policies *Experience* * Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided * Multilingual skills or bilingual proficiency (e.g., English and Spanish) are advantageous for serving a diverse customer base * Familiarity with POS systems, basic math skills for cash handling, and merchandising techniques are beneficial * Strong communication skills, time management, organizational skills, and professional phone etiquette are essential for success in this role * Experience with technology sales or product demonstrations can enhance the ability to engage customers effectively Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: From $15.00 per hour Work Location: In person
