Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Medical clinic. Tasks: Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities. Clean and maintain equipment. Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation. Maintain clinical and progress reports. Document patient rehabilitation progress. Perform general clerical duties. Process files and paperwork. Schedule and confirm appointments. Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
