The North Central Family Centre (NCFC) is a charitable, non-profit organization in Regina that has provided a safe, welcoming space for children and youth for over 20 years. NCFC delivers structured, proven programs offering inner-city children, youth, families, and seniors opportunities to participate in educational, recreational, social, and cultural activities. We are committed to community revitalization and improving quality of life through strength-based programming. Job Duties (include but are not limited to):Plan and implement age-appropriate activities; support program planning; supervise and actively engage with children and youth; maintain a positive, welcoming attitude; ensure safety by monitoring environments and reporting hazards; maintain accurate youth records; attend meetings and monitor communications; complete incident reports; follow NCFC policies and compliance requirements; conduct vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness; track expenditures and follow purchasing procedures. Support youth facing social, emotional, physical, or cognitive challenges by promoting growth, life skills, and goal achievement using a strengths-based approach. Build trusting relationships with youth and families; communicate program changes; connect youth with community resources; support program evaluation; act as a mentor and role model; and maintain a clean, respectful environment. Experience & Qualifications:Education in Early Childhood, Youth Care, or related field is an asset. Experience with inner-city youth required. Knowledge of the North Central community, poverty, food insecurity, trauma, and child development is preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, and basic computer skills are required. Leadership experience is an asset. Requirements:Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check; valid Class 5 license with abstract; Food Safe Level 1; Standard First Aid/CPR-C & AED.- Location Regina, SK
