If you are a CPA (or working toward one) who enjoys shaping financial strategy while maintaining strong technical accounting foundations, we invite you to join us. *Duties and Responsibilities:* *Financial Reporting & Analysis* * Lead weekly and monthly financial reporting engagements for clients, ensuring accuracy and providing meaningful financial insights. * Prepare and present monthly financial statements and executive-level financial commentary. * Drive forecasting activities, including identifying and explaining complex variances to budget. * Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and operational metrics to guide strategic decision-making. * Create advanced financial and operational reports that support executive leadership. *Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting* * Assist with preparation of annual budgets, independently developing assigned sections. * Perform detailed variance analysis of actuals to budget and forecast. * Support capital evaluation and capital spend forecasting initiatives. *Accounting & Compliance* * Research and apply appropriate accounting treatments for transactions. * Ensure accurate recording of transactions, including vendor invoices, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. * Oversee and support accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and source deductions. * Prepare and remit HST and payroll-related filings. * Participate in process reviews and internal control improvements. *Client Engagement* * Lead client engagements independently with professionalism and accountability. * Develop a strong understanding of client operations and financial objectives. * Build long-term, strategic partnerships with clients. * Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support client decision-making. * Utilize strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. *Systems & Continuous Improvement* * Collaborate with software providers to enhance financial and operational reporting systems. * Identify and lead process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. * Participate in systems implementation and optimization initiatives. *Leadership* * May oversee junior staff or interns. * Model professionalism, accountability, and high-performance standards within the team. *Qualifications:* * CPA designation * 5+ years of experience in the preparation and analysis of financial statements * Proven ability to manage all aspects of A/R, A/P, and G/L, including reconciliations * Strong analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication (verbal, written, and interpersonal) and organizational skills * Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate at all organizational levels *Perks and Benefits:* * Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. * Opportunities for professional development and growth. * Collaborative and supportive work environment. * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance. * Company events and team-building activities. * Starting Salary: $70,000-$90,000 \*Please note that all employees of Part-Time CFO Services must have access to reliable transportation and possess a full Ontario driver's license to commute to clients not ac
