*Job Summary* We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable *Truck and* *Trailer Mechanic* to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background with proven experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of trailers and related equipment. This role is hands-on and essential to ensuring all equipment remains safe, efficient, and compliant with industry standards. _LMIA will be provided for the right candidate_ *Key Responsibilities* * Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues in commercial transport trucks and trailer systems * Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts and components * Perform routine maintenance and preventative repairs * Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions * Confirm repair requirements with supervisor as needed * Review and complete work orders accurately * Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturer specifications * Conduct road tests when required * Complete reports detailing work performed and issues identified *Qualifications* * Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in truck/trailer repair and diagnostics * Proficient in using hand and power tools * Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting * Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to read schematics * Welding and HVAC experience considered an asset * Strong teamwork and communication skills * Customer-focused attitude *Job Details* * *Position Type:* Full-time, Permanent * *Hours:* 40?60 hours per week * *Schedule:* Monday to Friday, with weekend work as required * *Work Location:* In person *Benefits* * Extended health care * Dental care Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $34.00 per hour Work Location: In person- Location Regina, SK
