*Puddle Jumpers Prepschool is hiring a full-time Early Childhood Assistant to join our team!* _*Please do not call the centre directly.\*\**_ We are looking for a caring, reliable, and passionate individual who shares our belief in guided and inquiry-based learning. Our centre provides a supportive environment where children are encouraged to explore, ask questions, and develop into confident learners. If you love working with children and want to be part of a collaborative, nurturing team, we?d love to meet you. *Start Date & Hours* This full-time position begins *July 2nd,* but we may have *occasional supply shifts* available before then for the right candidate. Must be available to work between *7:00 a.m. ? 5:30 p.m.*, Monday to Friday (exact shift times may vary). *Key Responsibilities* * Support the RECE in delivering daily programming and routines * Engage with children through play, observation, and active supervision * Assist with meal times, toileting, and transitions throughout the day * Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom and centre environment * Communicate respectfully and professionally with children, families, and team members *What We?re Looking For* * Experience working with children in a licensed child care setting (required) * *CPR Level C and Standard First Aid certification* (required) * Vulnerable Sector Check (required) * Positive attitude and team mindset * Reliable and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English * Familiar with 'How Does Learning Happen?'
