Job details
Education: Bachelor's degree. Tasks: Administer nutrition plan for food preparation and service programs. Design a personalized menu for patients. Determine the appropriate food route when an individual prescription indicates that nutrition is a determining factor in the treatment of the disease. Determine the nutritional treatment plan. Evaluate normal and therapeutic menus to maintain and enhance general health. Guide a client who wants to improve their athletic performance. Monitor the nutritional status of individuals who follow a predetermined nutritional treatment plan. Support mothers who want to eat well during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Treat patients suffering from malnutrition or gastrointestinal disorders. Aid in the prevention of inadequate nutrition. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Canadian Dietetic Association Membership. Registration with provincial or territorial authorities.
