*Job Summary* We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Family Law Clerk to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will support family law attorneys by managing case files, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and ensuring smooth administrative operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your legal career within a collaborative and supportive environment. *Duties* * Assist attorneys with preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and affidavits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court standards * Conduct thorough legal research using Family Law platforms to support case strategies and legal arguments * Manage and organize case files using document management systems for easy retrieval and confidentiality * Perform data entry and maintain meticulous records of case activities, court dates, and client communications * Support the drafting of correspondence, reports, and summaries with clear writing skills and attention to detail * Coordinate interviews with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather relevant information for cases * Handle administrative tasks such as filing documents with courts, managing calendars for court deadlines, and maintaining organized physical and electronic files * Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients, courts, and external agencies to foster positive relationships *Experience* * Minimum 3 years prior clerical or administrative experience within a family law setting * Strong organizational skills are essential * Familiarity with legal research tools to support case development effectively * Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines * Experience with document management systems * Strong proofreading skills to ensure all legal documents are error-free before submission * Excellent communication skills for interviewing clients and interacting professionally over the phone * Knowledge of family law procedures and court filing requirements Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * On-site parking * Vision care Work Location: In person- Location Concord, ON
