Trigon Pacific Terminals Limited has reached 50% completion of its $173M Berth Two Beyond Carbon (B2BC) project in Prince Rupert. B2BC will nearly double the terminal's capacity from 18.5M tonnes to about 33.5M tonnes. It is expected that the berth will be ready for its first vessel in early 2027.

Pembina Pipeline Corp. and the Haisla First Nation have made their final investment decision in the US$4B Cedar LNG project off the coast of British Columbia. The project will involve the construction of a floating liquefied natural gas facility near Kitimat. When completed in late 2028 the facility will use natural gas from Western Canada to produce natural gas for export to Asia.
