Are you passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience by troubleshooting on the jobsite and maintaining a variety of Vermeer and other heavy equipment? We're looking for a self-starter who enjoys hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting. *What you will do* * Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures or malfunctions in the field to reduce customer downtime * Test repaired equipment for performance and reliability * Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on all customer equipment * Review factory service bulletins and other pertinent information to ensure equipment is up to date * Convey a professional presence, ensuring problems are tactfully explained and customer relations are satisfied * Ensure problems are tactfully explained and the customer is satisfied * Prepare job estimates in accordance with work schedules and promised completion dates, effects necessary mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic repairs, as required * Maintain a familiarity with the practical operation of all equipment * Ensures Ministry of Transportation requirements are adhered to, including daily logs and trip inspections * Maintains and leaves all work areas clean, unobstructed, in a safe and orderly working condition * Adheres to all Company policies and procedures, with particular emphasis on health and safety * Attends and participates in toolbox/safety meetings *What we are looking for* * Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work with minimum supervision * Strong communication skills and desire to deliver an exceptional customer experience * Detail-orientated, consistently going above and beyond to deliver high-quality work * Strong hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting skills * 421A heavy licensed tech with experience 3-5 years * Previous experience with Vermeer, Cat, John Deere, Ditch Witch, Case and other Horizontal Drilling equipment is an asset * Valid driver?s license.
