<p>Active Dynamics is a progressive OEM supplier that designs, tests, and manufactures unique solutions for multiple systems and multiple industries.</p><p>This full-service, end-to-end capabilities are paired with a collaborative, creative approach, global reach, and agile structure to offer real-world benefits in terms of turnaround time, cost, service, and customization.</p><p>We're always growing, always evolving, and always finding new ways to bring meaningful value to our customers and partners.</p><p>As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager and enthusiastic experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our successful Toronto team!</p><p>We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills in the manufacturing industry who can provide superb work experience.</p><p>This posting is for an existing, immediate vacancy.</p><p>This position is responsible for the development and review of manufacturing processes, procedures and equipment to manufacture exhaust systems.</p><p>This role works in a team environment in the development of exhaust system designs for our customer base.     Duties and Responsibilities:   Development of new processes/procedures to ensure smooth transition into Production.</p><p>Provide engineering support to Production in all areas such as packaging, metal cutting, tube bending, MIG and resistance welding and rolling.                                                                   Development of new manufacturing processes and equipment to improve efficiency and cost structure.              Working directly with cross functional team to understand and develop solutions for customers issues and problems.</p><p>Lead CI activities.                          Support the development of cost estimates for quoting purposes.                                         Lead cross functional team in the development of continuous improvement activities of existing and new products within the organization.                                                                        Lead 5S and Lean manufacturing activities.                                                                            Provide engineering support in the commissioning and validation of new equipment.</p><p>Review product design to ensure compliance with internal DFM/A rules.</p><p>Working with product design team in the development of DFM/A design rules.</p><p>Participate in strategic discussions for product road map development for new processes.</p><p>Participate in cross functional design reviews and feasibility analysis.</p><p>Communication & coordination with all other departments & vendors.</p><p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p><p>Educational Requirement: Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.</p><p>Qualifications and Experience:                                                                         10 years' experience in Manufacturing.</p><p>Experience with metal stamping, Arc Welding, Resistance Weldin- Location Toronto, ON
